The client is the natural or legal person who orders the services. Business clients are governed by the Slovak Commercial Code; consumers by the Slovak Civil Code and consumer protection law, and any provision of these Terms contrary to a consumer's statutory rights does not apply to them.
2. Orders and conclusion of the contract
- Based on an enquiry, the provider prepares a quote with the scope of work, price and deadline.
- The contract is concluded when the client confirms the quote (by email or signature) and pays the deposit, if agreed.
- Prices in the price list are indicative. The price in the confirmed quote is binding.
3. Price and payment terms
- Prices are final. The provider is not registered for VAT; no VAT is added.
- For websites and online stores, a 50% deposit is paid before work starts. The balance is due on handover, based on an invoice.
- Invoices are payable within 7 days unless agreed otherwise.
- Monthly services (website care, ad management) are invoiced in advance for each calendar month.
- The ad budget, domain, hosting, paid plugins, licences and third-party services (e.g. Reservio, Bookio) are paid by the client directly to their providers unless agreed otherwise.
- If payment is late, the provider may suspend work until the amount due is paid.
4. Cooperation and materials
- The client provides the necessary materials (texts, photos, logo, access) by the agreed date and is responsible for their accuracy and for holding the rights to them.
- If materials are not provided on time, the delivery date is postponed accordingly.
- The price includes 2 rounds of feedback on the design unless the quote states otherwise. Further changes and work outside the quote are charged as agreed.
5. Handover
- The work is handed over when the website goes live on the client's domain or is made available for approval.
- If the client does not report specific defects within 7 days of handover, the work is deemed accepted.
- Once the price is paid in full, ownership of the website and the right to use it without restriction pass to the client. The provider may list the work in its portfolio unless agreed otherwise.
6. Defects and complaints
- The client may report defects (functional errors contrary to the quote) by email to info@ambidesign.eu with a description.
- The provider handles complaints without undue delay, within 30 days at the latest, usually by fixing the defect free of charge.
- Changes made by the client or a third party, hosting or third-party service outages, and changes caused by browser or platform updates after handover are not defects.
7. Advertising and results
The provider manages advertising with professional care but does not guarantee a specific number of enquiries, sales or search rankings, as these also depend on the market, competition, budget and Google and Meta policies. Platform policies and ad approval are outside the provider's control.
8. Website care and monthly services
- Monthly services have no lock-in. Either party may cancel them by email with effect from the end of the calendar month.
- The scope of care is stated in the quote. Work beyond it is charged as agreed.
9. Withdrawal
- A consumer may withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason within 14 days of its conclusion, by email to info@ambidesign.eu.
- If the consumer expressly asks for the service to start before this period ends and then withdraws, they pay for the service provided so far. If the service has been fully provided, the right of withdrawal is lost.
- The provider refunds the consumer within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal, less the price of the service already provided.
- For business clients, either party may withdraw in the event of a material breach. The deposit covers work already done.
10. Personal data
Personal data is processed as described in the Privacy policy.
11. Dispute resolution
The parties try to resolve disputes amicably. A consumer may ask the provider for redress and, if not satisfied, submit a proposal for alternative dispute resolution, for example to the Slovak Trade Inspection (soi.sk), which is also the supervisory authority.
12. Final provisions
These Terms are effective from 9 October 2026. The provider may amend them; the version in force when the contract was concluded applies. Different arrangements in a written quote or contract take precedence over these Terms. This is an English translation; in case of doubt the Slovak version prevails.
